Cioccocrusco: the Swiss chocolate tradition meets that of Cruschi Peppers
An indivisible combination of taste and quality, a triumph of flavours, aromas and colours: the wisdom of the Swiss master chocolatiers joined ancient Lucan gastronomy and created Cioccocrusco, a product as unique as it is original, with an unmistakable character.
Swiss chocolate fused (literally) with Cruschi Peppers, a traditional product from Basilicata, innovating and creatively enhancing the history of flavours that have been around for centuries.
In this way the warm and enveloping notes of chocolate have come together with the whimsical and crunchy IGP Senise peppers, creating a new melody, which can impose itself while simultaneously maintaining a sweet and balanced harmony, to be enjoyed at any time.
From the union of tradition, history and innovation, was born: Cioccocrusco
Two identities, two very distant regions – not just geographically, but also in terms of local cultures and traditions – are brought together by an idea, which, in turn, gives rise to a new story, handcrafted, in the name of passion and the appreciation of exceptional aromas and flavours.
The fruit of passion, imagination, experimentation and professionalism, Cioccocrusco is synonymous with quality and attention to detail, and it is precisely from that attention to every little detail that we get an irresistible product of the highest quality, which can satisfy even the most discerning palates.
A story created entirely by hand
From when the Cruschi Peppers, with their typical hook shape, is chopped into very small pieces, to when the still-liquid chocolate is poured into the moulds: all the procedures required to make Cioccocrusco bars are carried out entirely by hand.
While keeping within the different processing times, each detail is accentuated and enhanced, to give the final product its well-defined nuances.
How did the idea of Cioccocrusco come about? For now we’ll only divulge that behind it all is a Lucan DOC, Antonio Cammarota – you’ll find out the rest in the next article!
