PAYMENT METHODS
PayPal/Credit card: with these forms of payment, upon conclusion of the online transaction, all the information requested by the system will be automatically forwarded, via an encrypted protocol, to the Customer’s Bank, who will charge the payment of the amount of the purchase made to the Customer’s account.
To all intents and purposes of the law, it is noted that at no time during the purchase process is the Supplier able to read the information relating to the buyer’s credit card, which is transmitted, via a secure connection, directly to the website of the Bank that is managing the transaction. None of the Supplier’s computer databases will retain such information. Under no circumstances can the Supplier, therefore, be held responsible for any fraudulent and/or illegal use of the Customer’s credit card by third parties.
By choosing PayPal as a means of payment, you will be redirected to the www.paypal.it website, where you will pay for the Products according to the procedure established and regulated by PayPal and the terms and conditions agreed between you and PayPal. The data entered on the PayPal site will be processed directly by them, and will not be transmitted or shared with Cioccocrusco.
The latter is therefore not in a position to know, and does not store in any way, the data for the credit card connected to your PayPal account, or the data for any other payment instrument connected with that account.
The Overall Total will be charged to you by PayPal upon conclusion of the agreement through the Website. In the event of termination of the purchase agreement and in any other case of refund, for whatever reason, the refund amount due to you will be credited to your PayPal account.
The time taken for the amount to be taken from the payment instrument linked to this account depend solely on PayPal and the banking system. Once the order has been placed to credit this account, Cioccocrusco cannot be held responsible for any delays or omissions in crediting the refunded amount. If you have any complaints you will have to contact PayPal directly.
DELIVERY METHODS
Cioccocrusco delivers in Italian and throughout Europe.
Deliveries are made within 2/3 working days from receiving the order, in Italy, and 4/5 working days for Europe.
To guarantee the integrity and quality of the products between April and September, deliveries are made via suitable means that guarantee a controlled temperature can be maintained.
Costs: delivery costs are €9.99 in Europe for orders under €99.00.
Free Delivery: for orders over €99
The products ordered are delivered to the address specified on the order form under “Delivery Address”. By registering with the site, you can access the Account section and use it to manage changes or additions to the addresses where you can have your orders delivered.
The Supplier will deliver the Products selected and ordered to Customers at the address specified at the time of order, using the methods referred to in this article, via trusted couriers and/or shippers.
Supplier’s obligations end with the delivery of the Products purchased to the Courier.
The Supplier accepts no responsibility in the case of non-delivery or delayed delivery of the Products to the Customer and/or for total or partial damage to the goods, the integrity of which is exclusively the Courier’s responsibility.
At the time the goods are delivered by the Courier, the Customer is responsible for checking:
- that the quantity and quality of the goods ordered correspond to those indicated in the delivery note
- the packaging is intact, not damaged, neither wet nor otherwise altered, including the materials used to seal the package.
Any complaints must be made immediately to the Courier making the delivery.
Delivery delays: the Supplier cannot be held responsible for any delays in the delivery of the goods.
Damage in transit: the Supplier accepts no responsibility for any damage caused by the Courier, in relation to the delayed delivery of the goods, to the customer or third parties, with the understanding that the Supplier’s obligations end with the delivery of the Products to the Courier.
Failure to deliver: if the Courier cannot deliver the goods due to the absence of the recipient or the person appointed to receive them, the courier will store the Products in its own warehouse, the address of which will be indicated on a special card, which will be left at the delivery address.
After 10 days of storage in the warehouse, any goods not collected will be returned to the Supplier.
